Carbonara







Easy Carbonara


200g pasta (I prefer spaghetti but because Josh likes macaronis better, I used macaroni this time)
150 ml milk
1/2 cup shredded cheese
1/2 sliced onion
Bacon as much as you want
1 chopped garlic
1 TBS olive oil
1 egg


1. Boil pasta
2. In a pan, cook chopped garlic with olive oil. Add bacon and cook until little bit crunchy.
3. Then add sliced onion and cook until soft.
4. Turn the heat to low. Add milk and cheese. Stir until cheese is completely melted.
5. Add pasta in (4) Add salt and pepper. (I like to put extra pepper)
6. Stop the heat. Pour beaten egg over (5) and stir quickly.
7. Put it on the plate and sprinkle some more pepper on top.

Easy Sweet & Sour Chili Chicken







Easy Sweet & Sour Chili Chicken

2 chicken breast
1 TBS cooking sake
1 tsp ginger
1 TBS soy sauce
2 tsp vinegar
4 TBS sweet chili sauce
2 tsp white sesame
long onions

1. Cook chicken both side with cooking sake, ginger and soy sauce.
2. Add vinegar and soy sauce. Cook with low heat about 5 minutes.
3. Add sweet chili sauce and caramelize with the chicken.
4. Add white sesame and long onions to finish!

Steak + Japanese Style Onion Sauce








Steak 

Beef
Salt
Pepper
Chopped garlic
Rosemary


1. Cut the beef and sprinkle all the other ingredients and leave it for 5 minutes
2. Cook on both sides until... as you would like :)



Japanese Onion Sauce

1 TBS olive oil
1 chopped Onion
Pepper to taste
1 sliced garlic
2 TBS soy sauce
1 TBS  sake
1 tsp Mirin (sweet cooking rice wine)

1. Chop the onion and cook it with sliced garlic and olive oil in a pan until golden
2. Add pepper
3. Add soy sauce, sake and miring and Mix
4. Let it cool down a little bit to blend


The Bennisons' Mini Chicken Burger




Recipe (24 servings)

Buns
2 cups self-rising flour
1 cup all purpose flour
2 tsp dried yeast
6 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
4 TBS salad oil
1 cup & 3 TBS warm water
1 egg
sesames

1. Mix self-rising flour and all purpose flour in a big tapperwear.
2. Make a dints and put sugar and yeast. Around the dints, put salt and salad oil.
3. Pour warm water into the dints, then mix.
4. Put a lid and leave it for 20 minutes.
5. Preheat oven 400°F
5. Make small balls (size of gold balls). Beat an egg, put on the dough and sprinkle sesames on top.
6. Bake at 400°F for 17-20 minutes.



meat patty

500g chicken mince1 onion, finely chopped1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried rosemary1 tsp dried paprika1 tsp dried basil leaves, chopped1 cup dried breadcrumbs2 eggsfreshly ground black peppersalt to tasteoil to grease and fry (I use olive oil)


1. Sauté onion and garlic in a small frying pan on low-medium heat until they start turning golden (approximately 3 minutes). Remove from heat, stir through the cinnamon and set aside.
2. Combine all other ingredients in a large bowl and mix well with a wooden spoon. Add the onion mix to the bowl and mix until thoroughly combined.
3. With oiled hands, shape the mixture into little patties.
4. In a large frying pan, heat oil on medium heat. Pan fry the patties until golden.



Curried Rice + Chicken Piccata






Piccata is one of the favorite recipe of my husband's. But whenever I make it, it makes me think of my mom. She used to always make it for us. So it always brings back the memory. 


Curried Rice

1. Chop 1 onion and 1 carrot and cook it with 2 TBS butter until very very soft
2. Add 2 cups of cooked rice
3. GIve it a taste with 1 tsp curry powder, 1 tsp consommé, garlic powder&salt&pepper to taste

Chicken Piccata

1. Put 6 chicken tenders and crazy salt in the plastic bag and leave for 10 minutes
2. Add 1/2 cup of flower
3. Mix 2 eggs, chopped basil and parsley. Coat chickens with it.
4. Head olive oil and cook the chicken both sides until golden brown

Mix ketchup and mayo 1:1
